Title IX Policy Statement
The Board of the Ladysmith School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and its regulations, including in admission and employment.
Inquiries about Title IX may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”), or both.

The Board designates Kirk Yudes - Assistant Principal and Athletic Director as the coordinator who is ultimately responsible for oversight over the Board’s compliance with its responsibilities under Title IX.

School District of Ladysmith Title IX Grievance Process
The Board has adopted a grievance process and procedures that provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of student and employee complaints alleging any action that is prohibited by Title IX and/or its implementing regulations. the grievance process and procedures are included in Policy 2266-Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities. The grievance process and procedures specifically address how to report or file a complaint of sex discrimination, how to report or file a formal complaint of Sexual Harassment, and how the District will respond.
