Know your Child's Development Milestones

 

Screening all children ages 3 & 4 years before entering school helps to ensure every child is getting the support he or she needs to be ready for learning.

The Child Development Day will be held every year in conjunction with our 4K Registration Day. Specific information will be advertised in the community and through school district resources.

The screening will provide you and the School District of Ladysmith with the important information and identify children who may benefit from our resources.

At the child's screening, staff will check:

• Speech and Language Skills
• Social and Emotional Development
• Early Learning Concepts
• Large and Small Muscle Movement

Does my child need a developmental screening?

Screening 3 and 4-year-old children for developmental milestones is crucial for early detection of any delays or disabilities.
